Obituary of Syble Reshelle Bryant

Syble Reshelle.Bryant, age 54 of Iowa City Iowa died Sunday, March 28, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held for family at 12:00 pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City, with burial to follow open to the public at Oakland Cemetery. There will be visitation April 3, 2021 from 10:30 am - 12:00 noon also, at the church of Nazarene. Bryant was born November 17, 1966 in Chicago Illinois, to Robert Lee Bryant Sr. and Georgia Mae Moore. Syble grow up in Moorhead Mississippi. She attended Gentry High School and Mississippi Delta Community College. Where she obtained a degree in Offset Printing. In 1988, she met her husband Eddie Pryor. Syble worked as a first grade teacher at Rosser Elementary School for many years. They moved to Iowa City, in 2010 where she worked as a caregiver. She also became a member of The Church of Nazarene under the leadership of Pastor Theresa Stecker. Syble enjoyed life and family gatherings. She also enjoyed cooking, fishing, singing in the church choir, listening to gospel music and the blues. Her family includes his husband, Eddie; son Isaiah (Serena) Daughters: Erica Hunt (Michael), and Briunna. 6 grandchildren; Asley, Aerial, Alasia, Ra’Kyla and Destiny. siblings, Mamie, Helen, Shirley, Mary and Susie (Richard) Ray and Robert . In-laws; Annie, Mary, Roberta, Rosie, EddieMae, Bertha and host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Syble was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Georgia.
