Obituary of Walter Craig Linnell

Walter C. Linnell, age 57 of Iowa City died at his home Saturday, April 3, 2021. A time of visitation will be held for family and friends from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 pm, Saturday, April 10th, 2021, at the Iowa City American Legion. He attended Iowa City Schools and has lived in various states before returning to Iowa City. His family includes two children, Thomas Linnell and Ashlie Blakey (Dakota); four grandchildren, Michael, Audrie, Kaizer and Alma; siblings, Danny Linnell, Sally McKee, Linda Pierce, Debra Canradi and Catheren Vineyard and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Linnell and John Cook.
