Condolences
So sorry to hear about Don's accident. I remember calling on Don and his wife when I was in Extension, and also enjoyed visiting with Don at the Family Restaurant in Tipton. He will be missed!
JILL, YOU HAVE MADE A CAREER OF BEING THERE FOR OTHERS AND CONSOLING GRIEVING FAMILIES. YOU WERE THERE FOR MY FAMILY ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION AND GAVE US STRENGTH IN TIMES OF LOSS. I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY IS HERE FOR YOU.
PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES IN THE LOSS OF YOUR DAD, AND KNOW THAT IF YOU NEED ANYTHING AT ALL, MYSELF AND COUNTLESS OTHERS ARE BUT A PHONE CALL OR A TEXT AWAY.
GOD BLESS

Dearest Jill and Clint,
My heart breaks for you. Uncle Don will always hold a special place in my heart along with all the great memories we share. When Grandpa would scratch his head and say "Don has a calf, but....," I always knew it'd be coming to my house to get raised. He would stop in and check on it from time to time and always grin and say I'd done good. I miss the simplicity of those days that your Dad seemed to carry with him wherever he went.
Prayers of comfort for you both.
Love always, Lara (Barnhart) Berkenpas

Jill, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father! So sad. I think about you & Don, in my frequent travels to West Branch.
I have fond memories of him assisting me at Hoover Caterings, and enjoyed seeing him at the Park Celebrations, Grill out Picnics.
Always pleasant, mild mannered and always a smile! He was very kind. I am saddened to hear this, for you & your brother.
May you find comfort, in the Lifetime of love & memories shared.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Jane Marie Wold
Dear Jill, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father due to a farming accident. He will be missed dearly by those that knew him and of course you and Clint. The only consolation is that he will be with your mother. I don't know if Clint ever moved back but if he did that will be a great comfort to you. I think of you often and hope the fact that a beautiful spring and summer are on the horizon. It will be a good opportunity for you to plant something special to honor your father. Stay well and keep the faith. Janet and John Tiffany
