I spent a day with Dave years ago when he helped fill my dad’s silo. I enjoyed the day and we had lots of good conversations when the silage wasn’t blowing in. I lost track of him over the years but know his uncles and cousins and his brother Jeff.
So sorry for your loss. I hope your good memories of him will comfort you.

Oh my heart is broken. I remember our first day of kindergarten. Dave cried and cried when his Mama Betty had to leave him. I’ve loved Davey ever since that day. He had a huge heart and was so full of humorous stories. I will miss his out of the blue texts. I pray God holds Dave close. I will miss you my Dear ole Friend. May God strengthen you, his family.
