Condolences
My sympathies to Bill's family. It has been about 45 years since I last saw and spoke with Bill, but he left an impression on me. I grew up on on a dairy farm near Monticello, IA, and Bill came to our farm every other day with his truck to pick up our milk and haul it to the Mid-America Dairymen milk processing plant. I am now 59, and could not have been more than 13 or 14 when Bill sold that route to another operator. Bill always had the biggest smile and was so cheerful and friendly. When I opened the Cedar Rapids Gazette last week and saw his face, I immediately recognized him. I thought your family would appreciate knowing that Bill set a great example and made such a positive impression on a young guy so many years ago.
Thank you for your Military service
