We at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County are saddened to hear of Jan's passing. Jan was a steadfast volunteer for many years at our annual fundraiser, Bowl for Kids' Sake. She helped us in the tally room helping us account for the thousands of dollars raised. It is folks like Jan and her husband, Bob sharing their generosity, that make living and working in Johnson County a great place. Our deepest condolences.
To Bob and Michelle, I am so sorry you had to say goodbye to Jan. We worked together at many a Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraisers. Jan shared her organizational skills and money savvy with us for entire Saturdays for many years. She also shared her good humor and fun stories. We were so lucky to have her there. We also appreciated her (and Bob's) help organizing and delivering t-shirts for the event. What a great example of a generous person; a great legacy. Wishing you the well.
