Obituary of Barbara Ann Mawdsley

Barbara A. Mawdsley, age 64, passed away July 31, 2021 from health complications. Barbara was born July 16, 1957 in Humboldt, Iowa, the daughter of Duane and MaryLou Ehrhardt. Barbara had a varied career path including CNA, Quilt shop owner, and most recently a lunch lady which she enjoyed very much. She liked to meet new people and hear their stories. Barbara had a very strong faith in God that stayed with her both in life and in death. She also loved to Quilt, play games, spend time with her grandchildren, talk with her sister, and bake for her bible study group. Barbara will be missed, but her memory will be carried by all who knew her. Surviving Barbara are her children, Joshua (Amber) Davidson and Belinda (Bryan) Lemkau; grandchildren, Grayson Davidson, Nevaeh Davidson and Elijah Lemkau; and siblings, Cathy (Bob), Mike, Joyce and John. A simple cremation has been arranged for Barbara in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be scheduled for a later date.
