My deepest sympathies to David’s family. I never had the pleasure of meeting David in person, even though we both grew up in the Iowa City area, having graduated the same year. We connected through Facebook and I enjoyed our conversations through messenger. Blessings to all of you.
I grew up in Iowa City attending school on the East side. Fortunately, I met Dave while attending the University of Iowa. Always the best guy during those years. Recently reconnected through Facebook and feel fortunate to have made contact again. He was a fun, kind and gentle soul. RIP Dave. My condolences to your entire family.
I worked with Dave at Oral-B on various projects. Dave was the quiet, hard working and very dependable man. If there was OT Dave was signed up. To the family and friends sorry for your lost.
To the Brogla family: I am sorry to hear of Davids' passing. He was one of the nicest, most humble people I have ever met. Played softball with him on mens' teams, as well as some coed teams. He was very competitive, but calm while being competitive. Always admired him for his steadiness and calm demeanor. Even though he appeared quiet, David always had a funny joke or observation to share. He will be missed. May God Bless you all with the strength and courage in losing David.
Rest in Peace Dave, will miss our too rare phone calls, Thankful you reached out to me so many years after working together..Thoughts and Prayers for Peace, Comfort and Memories in this loss for all family and friends.
