I didn’t know whether to call Larry a Father, Uncle, Brother, Best Friend, or My Therapist it really just depended on what problem not just me, but anyone had. It didn’t matter if Larry knew you or not he would always take his time, listen to you, open up his heart, and give solid advice and direction. This was a special man, I witnessed kids, teenagers, adults, and even older people stand still and listen when Larry was giving you advice. That is if you deserved it. If you said, did, or planned on doing something not so smart he would definitely let you know by saying “YOU GO DO THAT, AND LET ME KNOW HOW THAT WORKED OUT”. It was always a joy hanging out with Larry whether battling bowling, early on 4th of July when he was barbecuing, or relaxing while listening to him sing MY GIRL, and he can SANG y’all. Larry always lit a room up when he walked in you could feel his good vibe and great energy. Larry was the best friend I can ask for and my mentor. This was a gentle giant who will Truly be missed. -Kevin Dunson(Black)
