Obituary of Gregoria B. Zambrano

Gregoria B. Zambrano, age 73 of Iowa City died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, December 18, 2021, at St. Patricks’ Catholic Church in Iowa City with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Gregoria Bello Zambrano was born March 12, 1948, in Mexico, the daughter of Manuel and Jouita Bello Zambrano. She worked hard outside the home, with her family being the most important in her life. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking gardening and traveling back to Mexico to see family and dear friends. Her family includes her children, Faustino Paredes, Eric Paredes, Eugenio Paredes, Manuel Paredes, Freddy Paredes, Saira Paredes, Wendy Paredes, Maira Vazques, Miguel Paredes, and Edwin Paredes; her grandchildren, Oscar Paredes, Nelson Vazquez, Joseph Vazquez, Antonio Vazquez, Jasmine Mondragon, Martha Vazquez, Brock Blanton, Emmett Blanton, Edward Mendez, and Elvira Romero; her mother, Jovita Bello, and her brother, Juan Bello.
