Jim was “Jim” to all who were blessed and fortunate to know him, and that was many as he really never did know a stranger. He taught us to live life truly as your authentic self, no need to be someone who you are not, love me for who I am! Jim enjoyed camping, bowling, the Iowa Hawkeye’s, Oddfellows gatherings if only at the Iowa City Lodge or in a National meeting; but near and dear to Jim’s heart was his family and dear friends. His family includes his siblings and their spouses, Jerry and Darlene Lindemann, Janet and Lloyd Hofmaster, and Joanne and Steve Podhajsky; nieces and nephews, Steve Lindemann (Michelle), Rich Lindemann (Michelle), David Lindemann (Brenda), Debbie Pence (Mark), Lori Rishel (Tim), Mike Hofmaster, Mark Hofmaster, Julie Trimpe (Cliff Frey) and Brian Trimpe (Arthur); numerous cousins and many friends.
