Obituary of Uziya Nyandagirwa

Uziya Nyandagirwa passed away December 27, 2021. She was 55 years old. Uziya’s family will receive guests for a funeral service on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 9:30 – 11 am at the River Community Church (3001 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City), followed by a burial at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty. Uziya’s family will then receive guests at the North Liberty Community Center (520 West Cherry Street, North Liberty) for continued fellowship starting at 1 pm. Uziya was born January 1, 1966 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the daughter of Rwihangana Ibrahimu and Nyangorore Nyamwiza. Uziya’s family include her beloved children, three sons and one daughter; ten grandchildren; four brothers and six sisters and twenty four nephews and twenty five nieces.
