Obituary of Ryan Joseph Lawniczak

Ryan J. Lawniczak, age 44, died January 25, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness. Ryan Joseph Lawniczak was born November 28, 1977, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of Kim W. and Judith M. Following graduation from high school he went on to college earning his degree. On May 23, 2009, Ryan was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jill Marie Vandersee at St. Joseph Church in Marion. Ryan worked as a Software & Design Engineer in this area. Ryan was a generous man, one that would go out of his way to help you, one that would give you the shirt off of his back. He enjoyed Music, Movies and Trivia. Ryan dearly loved his wife, Jill and the simple life they had along with his dog, Tegan. His family includes his wife, Jill; Ryan’s parents, Judith Mohney (Bruce), and Kim Lawniczak; grandmother, Gladys White ; step siblings, Todd Mohney (Katie Pelligrino) and Michelle Mohney; Jill’s parents, Gwen Stanek (Daniel) and Randy Vandersee; Jill’s sisters, Nicole Offerman (James) and Katie Dudley; and several Aunts and Uncles, nieces and a nephew, and numerous cousins.
