I've always loved coming to iowa to visit family. But I mainly loved coming to iowa to visit Grandma Ruth. She will always have a place in my heart.

I have many memories with Grandma. But theres one that I will always have is when there was a tornado warning when we were all in the house on SaddleBrooke. I remember either kyle or jeff picked me up onto their shoulders outside to look the the tornado. I am very sure grandma thought we all were crazy.

I have many more of grandma.

Ruth was a great lady who had a long wnd well lived life. Great memories for us and stories to talk about. She and our mom took care of a lit of boys and men up at the ranch. 9 of us and just the 2 of them. Thankfully they had each other. Like Jim Sterba said, let the card games begin, that generation are all back together. RIP

I was saddened to hear of your loss. When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange.

I'm sure everyone has been awaiting Ruth's arrival so the card games can begin.
