I met Don when I worked the front desk at the Coralville Recreation Center. He was such a nice man, very quiet, but well liked. He was so sweet; he would often bring me a piece or two of candy as he walked in and said hi. I always enjoyed seeing his smile!
Don and Helen were our good neighbors in River Heights for almost 20 years. We always enjoyed our visits over a cup of tea in the morning or something stronger if it was cocktail hour. His family has our sympathy.
I knew Don from our Friday senior lunches in North Liberty. He was such a kind soul and quiet man, but was very social with his friends. He will be missed by all of us!
Uncle Don was always interested in our lives growing up. He visited us in AZ and we had some great times going out together. He was a good man! Rest In Peace, Craig Davis
