Obituary of M. Pauline Eimen

M. Pauline (Lapham) Eimen, age 104 of Williamsburg, Iowa died Friday, January 28, 2022, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg. Mildred Pauline Young was born January 4, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of William and Jennie (Brink) Young. She attended schools in Cedar Rapids, and later classes at Kirkwood Community College. Pauline married Robert H. Lapham on April 18, 1936, in Galena, Illinois. They resided in Marion and she worked for Collins Radio for 22 years. Robert died January 16, 1968. She married Seth Eimen on April 19, 1973, in Oxford, Iowa. They lived on a farm in Homestead, Iowa for 26 years. Seth died December 16, 1999. Pauline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg and Order of Eastern Star. Her family includes her daughter, Roberta Bounds. 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, step-daughters, Betty Falls and Helen Bluett (Bill); step-daughter-in-law, Diane Eimen and sister, Cecilia Boysen. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, brother, Charles Kost, and step-son, Orlo Eimen. Private family services are being planned with burial at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, Iowa in Pauline’s memory.
