I have very fond memories of Lloyd as a very young man working for John Wilson's Sporting Goods when it was at 215 Washington Street downtown Iowa City, one of which is that when customer traffic was low, Lloyd was frequently practicing and perfecting his fly casting technique in the long aisles and high ceilings of that store.
My late husband, Bob "Chug" Wilson and I always remember him as a good man.
So, sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing. He was a talented photographer and always a pleasure to see on sidelines and at courtside. His fine work contributed greatly to so many of the projects we produced at Goodfellow Printing. His legacy is secure in those images.
I am so sorry for your loss. Lloyd was my supervisor at Photo Services and was a mentor and joy to be around. Some of my fondest memories from my college days was time spent at Photo Services.
