Condolences to sll of Skylar's family and prayers
I just want to add my condolences to Skyler's family. He was such a good guy. Even though he was older than me and better than me in sports, he always treated me (and everyone, that I saw) with respect and goodwill. I can't imagine what you all are going through, because I barely saw him over the past couple decades, but my heart still hurt when I learned he had passed from this world. At least Skyler is suffering no more, and in His peace forever more. Thank you for your inspiring life, Skyler!
I first knew Skyler as my son’s junior high basketball coach at Regina. We were lucky to have him for what was my son’s first favorite sport. Obviously Skyler was knowledgeable but, more importantly, the kids seemed to like and respect him. As a tennis player at NDAC, Skylar once joined our drill group- I don’t think he had played in awhile :) He was fun and good natured about it. Reading about him and his athletic achievements, I was blown away. Thank you for sharing Skyler, his life and his battle. Sincerely, Teresa Suchomel
Skyler was such an amazing person, and that is evidenced by the outpouring of love from people all over the community. Skylar was a friend to many of our lenders in our Mortgage Department and his warm smile and friendship will be missed.
We extend our condolences and prayers to the family at this extremely difficult time.

Condolences from the Gianolas. Skyler was a great presence in our lives during our time as members at NDAC. He always left you with the feeling that he was an old friend. He was supportive of Susanna with her tennis, and was the one who playfully gave our boys the moniker "B&T." He met everyone with sincere and open warmth and friendship. We wish Sarah, her kids, and the rest of Skyler's family peace during this time.
Sarah and the Moss family, my girls and I are so saddened to hear of Skylers passing. I know he will be watching you from above and will still be there for the special times as the kids grow up. I know he will be greatly missed by SO many. I will miss seeing him at the gym. In his short life he made a huge impact in this community and touched so many lives. I’m so sorry I cannot be there for the visitation as I am not in the country. Hopefully we can make it to the celebration of life. Love and hugs to you all.
To the Moss family. My condolences to you all during this sad time. Steve, I'm sure Kenny is welcoming Skylar Home.

Skyler was my great nephew, though I didn’t have the honor of knowing him well, I do have memories of getting his autograph at a Iowa game. While visiting from Colorado I went to a Iowa game with Larry and Donna German(my sister and Skyler’s grandparents) Skyler’s team had a booth at the game. I was so proud to get his autograph. He was such a good looking young gentleman. I followed his two year battle with cancer, I have never known anyone with such strength and fight, what a warrior Skyler was. I know he was fighting for his amazing wife and children, his devoted parents, Steve snd Sonya. I believe God came to Skyler snd said, My child it’s time for you to come home.
Stephen and Sonya. Our deepest sympathies

Skylar moss was one of a kind. I was fortunate enough to be able to call him a friend, classmate, teammate, and business associate. Sky never ever did anything but smile he was a true leader. He helped provide this community with many special moments that many will never forget. He brought three great children into this world well with the help of Sarah of course. I'm sure they will make their Dad proud. We're all saddened by the loss of Skylar but I'm 100% sure he would want everyone to remember his fight and how hard he fought and the way he lived his life. He would tell us all to be happy and fight for what we want out of life. We will meet again buddy
We are so very sad to hear about Sky’s passing. Thinking about Sky brings back memories of long ago when Fred assisted Steve coaching our sons Kevin and Sky in Little League. We also have fond memories of traveling with the concurrent Bulls CABA baseball team that Steve and Dave coached, and enjoyed the family and player camaraderie. That was so many years ago. Sky was a “natural” as an athlete back then; so it was not surprising to see all his further success in athletics.
With Sincerest Sympathies

I had the pleasure of meeting Skyler when I was a graduate assistant athletic trainer assigned to baseball 2005-06. I always looked forward to Skyler popping in the athletic training room. He was always so positive and fun to be around. He always treated me with respect and made me felt part of the team. My two nephews were lucky to have him as a baseball coach at City High as well. Glad I got to see him a few years ago at one of their games and he proudly introduced me to Sarah and at the time 2 of his kids! You could tell he was so happy. I am still processing his death. I know he fought so hard and is one of the toughest people I know. I pray for strength and comfort for Sarah and his family during this time and always.
When I was working at North Dodge as a tennis pro, Skyler and Sarah started up a Skinny Jeans contest/workout/nutrition plan. I had just delivered my second daughter Camilla in August of 2013 and needed to get back into shape! I started the program in September as a "guinea pig" to the Skinny Jeans to test and show the results to others and help promote the success of the program. Skyler and Sarah were both so positive every day and were always organized with all our workout plans and also very encouraging with the strict diet plan. Skyler always brought a sense of humor to the workouts and liked playing good "old school" music and sang along and told stories of his wild college days! I ended up getting into the best shape of my life, being able to do a pull up and lowering my %age body fat significantly. Overall, Skyler always made you feel like you were family and a good friend and was so welcoming and inviting. He helped take care of my daughter's Elle and Camilla in the nursery. Who knows, maybe changed a nasty diaper or two. I know Sonya did! Carried Camilla when she was crying for me when I was away working out. Camilla loved Skyler. I remember feeling so honored to be invited to their wedding and being a part of that celebration! The reception was so much fun! Lots of dancing and lots of laughter! Skyler and Sarah threw good parties and tailgates! Again, always so welcoming to everyone. I am so deeply heart broken for this loss to all his family and friends. Skyler showed us how strong he was battling for every day to live for his family. I have faith knowing he will continue to watch over them and be in their corner for all eternity. He will be missed but he won't be forgotten. Hugs to the Moss family and special hug to Sarah. You never gave up Sarah. My heart goes out to all of you. -Amie
To the Moss family, We too were saddened to hear that Skyer's fight with cancer had ended. I will always remember his infectious smile. When he'd come in to the Attendance Office or the Main Office for what ever the reason ( wink;} wink;} ) Or I'd meet him at a Breast Friends golf tournament, long after his days at City High, it was always a, " Hi Mrs. Croker!". Skyler was always a gentlemen. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Anne and Jim Croker and family.
So sorry to hear of Skylar's passing. We hope all his family members can be comforted by all the good days remembered. I'll always remember that snicker-smile and "ready to go" attitude. Don and Donna Farley
Steve and Sonya, Sarah and family, we are heartbroken to learn of Skyler’s passing. He certainly lived life to the fullest. We always loved watching him on the baseball field! We’re certain he’s already found the field in heaven where the great ones continue to play, and running “home” has new meaning. Until we can join that heavenly place, we pray God’s peace and love over all of you.

My most sincere and deepest condolences to the Moss family on the passing of Skyler. He will be greatly missed by many!
to Steve and Sonja, as well as Skylar's wife and 3 children, one of which i saw baptized , that is last time i spoke with him about our days of his earlier Sunday school in kindergarten and 1st grade as he was in my eldest Rachel's class. I am writing this with tears in my eyes. The write up and picture were great to read, i saw one of his children's baptism's and that is last time i got to talk to him at back of the church. It was neat to see all the generations standing proudly with them. As a mother and grandmother, as well as the youngest in my family, I have had to bid farewell to many family members until we meet again. It is always hardest on those of us left behind on earth to carry on, and no one can take away the precious memories especially those in recent years to make memories with his children while he could. He was even on our prayer list at my church in texas for awhile, i had checked with Rachel from time to time but did not realize it recurred. i would like to send a card but do not have addresses. In time a donation to memorial fund. i will put Skylar Moss family on our prayer list for a few weeks down here. the holidays and birthdays are the hardest for those left behind, I know Rachel had a time of letting helium balloons go to grandparents in heaven at times. I tell kids to look for first star to come out and that is the loved one in heaven letting us know they are okay. God bless all of you as you struggle thru the next few days but it will be celebration of full life he led as athlete and getting his children interested in sports. I know I still follow Hawkeye events on big 10 network down here when i can . He gave a valiant fight that is for sure. I'll be thinking and praying for all of you, sincerely, in HIS love, Deb Weiss
