Obituary of Eddie Lee Pryor

Mr. Eddie Lee “Sonny” Pryor, was born to the late Mr. Ed and Ora D. Pryor on April 10, 1960. He was the last of 10 children. He received his education in the Sunflower County School System. He was employed as a janitor at Mississippi Delta Junior College in Moorhead, MS. Mr. Pryor loved spending time with his family, gardening and fishing. On February 6,2022, he departed this life at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Syble Reshelle Bryant, parents, Ed and Ora D. Pryor, two brothers, Willie B. Pryor and Charlie Lee Pryor, and one sister, Georgia Mae Clay. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: Three children: Isaiah (Serena) Bryant, Erica (Michael) Hunt, and Briunna Pryor. Five grandchildren; Ashley, Aerial , Alasia, Ra’Kyla, and Destiny. Six sisters: Rosie Pryor, of Columbus, MS, Roberta (YC) Clay, Annie (James) Leflore, Mary Houston, Eddie Mae Clay, and Bertha Pryor all of Moorhead, MS. Four aunts, Daisy Sago of Joliet, IL, Ruthie Mae Spruells of Panorama, CA, Estella Moten and Ora Lee Jones of Greenville, MS. Two uncles, Charlie (Annette) Moten of Las Vegas, NV, Levi Spruells of Elgin, IL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
