Uncle Betty was my favorite aunt. When I was little, She would pincurl my hair and dress me in aunt Jemima toaster cover and take me to church. She taught me how to set a table on one of those Sundays. We made figurines in her molds in the basement on Hollywood Blvd.. But most of all, she taught me to Pray.
I will miss her dearly!

Bill, Steve and all the Courtney family sorry for your loss. You will all be in my prayers. Keep all the good memories in your hearts forever. God Bless you all.
I got to know Elizabeth through her time at Lantern Park, she was a sweet lady and was a pleasure to see everyday. She enjoyed socializing with staff members and other residents out in the common areas. She treated everyone with a kindness that was unmatched. She will be truly missed.
Aunt Elizabeth was known for her sweet caring ways. Growing up I always looked forward going to see her. Several times she would take me swimming. Always much fun. After I was married she would come up and we did floral decorating together. I also remember the beautiful chalk paintings she did at church. Now God hascalled her home and she is enjoying the splendors of heaven.

Hard to believe that she is gone. We have wonderful memories of Aunt Betty. So glad mom and I could see her this past fall. We all have great memories of family get togethers with her. Rest In Peace . You will be missed.
I’ll always remember the Finley family’s visits to the Courtney’s home in Fair Meadows. We would stay the day and play all day. Betty was so full of love and kindness that those visits were always prized. My heart felt condolences to the family. .
As a young boy I grew up with Aunt Betty always in my families’ lives. We have all shared many happy times with Aunt Betty and she will be missed and remembered by all of us. I can recall the sound of her voice and her laughter, she will be forever in my memories along with her sisters, Aunt Mary, Aunt Louise and my Mother Marguerite. They were the Barnhart Sisters, now all have passed through our lives and are the end of era. Until we meet again, Love Richard C.
We wish that at this time of grief a little sunshine is on the way. Although a great bit of time has passed, I still remember the great neighbor across the street when we were growing up. Here's hoping the family is well and Donna's and my condolences are with you during the days ahead. So sorry for your loss.
We are saddened to hear of Aunt Elizabeth’s passing. She is in a much better place now with Uncle Bill and all her love ones. She was around ten years old when I was born. So we go back a long time and many many memories and shared times together. With this Covid it has made it harder to visit our loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family members. Gods blessings!
I have a lot of fond memories of Aunt Betty and will truly miss knowing that she is among us. When my daughter was born and I called Grandmother (Marguerite) to let her know - she pointed out that the name we picked for her honored both her and her sister Betty - Cristina Elizabeth. So every time I've thought of Crissie, I've also had Grandmother and Aunt Betty in my heart. My sincerest condolences to everyone who loved her.
- Melissa Finley Wood
