Condolences
Ed, Tiffany & Dawn - I am so sorry I am unable to attend Darlene's services this week. I have so many fond memories, remember vividly Darlene always showing me her most recent Beanie purchase and sitting around the table at Herb & Lous having lots of pizza nights. I wish I could be there to extend my condolences to you all as she was a great role model growing up when I would stay. Cherish all the wonderful memories. Thinking of you all.
Ill never forget the good times our families had together, from camping and fishing, to even just playing croquet at grandmas.our prayers are with her immediate family, may god take care of your sorrow and help with healing from your loss.
Ed, Dawn and Tiffany- I am so saddened to hear of Darlene's passing. So many fond memories from our childhood, Tiff... She was always our loudest cheerleader at volleyball games and track meets. I was so happy to see her out and about in town in recent years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love to you all.

Edgar and family. Sorry for your loss. We will miss Darlene at the reunion each year. Here is a poem I wrote that may give you some comfort.
Crossing Over
The day comes for the crossing over
To that place where God has prepared
It is hard though to let those go
With whom we have loved, laughed and shared
But God has promised to us in this life
To send the comforter as our stay
It is His way of saying to us left behind
“I am with you all the way.”
So lay down the burden of your heart
And let our Savior lift your soul
Up to our Heavenly Fathers realm
To once again make you whole.
He has a new road for you to travel
A plan made especially for you
So let Jesus take you by your hand
Till your life on earth is through.

P.S. I (Daniela) will always remember my first Thanksgiving meal I had when I first arrived in the United States, because it was the one Darlene prepared at her house, where I was invited with Neal, Jim and Lue Ellen during our visit to Iowa. I felt so welcomed and happy. It seemed to me like I always had been a part of the family.
Darlene and Ed made me feel that way❤. Thank you. Rest in peace, my dear sister in law❤Jim and Lue Ellen will rejoice in your company yet again. This time in heaven...
