Condolences
Simmonds family, Susan and I are very sorry about Marion's passing.
Many great memories of going to your house on C St. Your mom always had a pot of coffee brewing for anyone who stopped by, and Kirk was always sitting at the kitchen table drinking some of that. Your mom did a wonderful job taking care of Kirk as long as she did.
Hugs to all the family

Your mom was about the kindest soul I have ever known. I consider it a privilege to have known her. A great woman who led a great life. You're fortunate to have her as your mom.

Simmons Family, so sorry for the loss of your mom. We had many fun times in your house on C Street. I remember your mom making Connie and I the best sugar cinnamon toast for a snack! She had the best smile and was always so kind. I loved running into her and Kirk at Hardee's back in the day. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We only met your Mom a couple of times, Connie, but she was so nice to us.
We are thinking of you and your entire family with sympathy and support.
Wishing you peace and comfort. Love, Ann and Terry
I was Marian's Meals on Wheels volunteer each Monday and Thursday for the past few years, and it was such a delight to see and visit with her each time. She always greeted me with a great smile and called me by name. And she always insisted that I take a bag of Lindor truffles when I left, although I was occasionally able to convince her that someone else needed them more than me. Each time I left, her parting words were, "You have a lovely day!". She was a delightful lady, and I am truly blessed to have been able to have met her. My sympathy to all her family.
Marian was neighbor here in Bon Aire. While she was still driving she would always wave and smile when she went by. If I ran into her at the mail box she was always so friendly and smiling. I always admired her devotion and care of her son. She was truly a beautiful lady that will be greatly missed.

I was Marian’s Meals on Wheels volunteer for the last 3 years and each Wednesday that I saw her it gave me a lift. In this role you see a lot of the ways people age and cope with the aging process. I so admired Marian’s independence and her composure about how things were going in the world. With a lot of people you are there to hear about how they are. With Marian it was always about how you were. When she thanked you it was so gracious and she really meant it, more than almost anyone I know. I wish I had known more about what made her the exceptional person that she was but I will certainly miss her. Her family should be very proud of the care and support they gave her in these last years so that she could enjoy being in her own home.
