Obituary of Joni A. Reed

Joni A. Reed, age 38, of Coralville died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at her home in Coralville. Joni Alise Johnson was born March 10, 1984, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, the daughter of Lloyd and Karen J. (Rouse) Johnson. She attended schools in the Iowa City Community School District. Joni enjoyed much in her life, her love of animals, especially dogs, cooking, fine make-up and fashion, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the outdoors camping and fishing, any sort of music and most of all her family and friends. Her family includes her children, Jaylynn, Chauncey, and Channing Reed; her mother, Karen Johnson; siblings, Jayme Clements (Keith), and Jacob Johnson (Shanetta); in-laws, Olivia Johnson and Matt Miller. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd, brother, Joshua Johnson, and sister, Joey Miller. Private family are planned through Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services in Iowa City.
