Obituary of Bill J. Achey

Bill Achey, 70 of Marion, passed away Monday May 9,2022, after a long bout with his health. Bill was a long time loving partner and husband to Ruth Achey; father to Kristen (Salah) and Scott (Sandy) and a dad to Allen, Robert, Dannielle (Carlos) and Joseph (Steph); a grandfather to Kareem, Amani, Hakeem, Saleem, Omar, Hannah, Shabrina (Tyree), Kyra (Richard), Shaneka (Donnie), Kori, Skyye, Joseph Jr, Celise (Rob), Arianna (Jonah), Jasmine, Tristan, Nakia, and Alexandria; a great grandpa to Asa, Ava, Ailia, Aisia, Allan, Deshane, Loyalty, Isaiah, Kahlil, Mila, Marcel, Teddi, Mateo, JaMeir, Madalyn and King; and brother to David and mother of his children, Pat Achey, and uncle and cousin to many. Proceeded in death by his parents Verl and Pearl Achey and brothers Ronald and Richard. Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday May 21st 2022 at Springs of Life Church (2300 26th Street NW Cedar Rapids Iowa).
