Obituary of William Richard Myers

William "Rich" Myers, 78 of West Branch ended his life Friday May 13, 2022. He was born October 17, 1943 in Dixon, NE son of William "Bill" and Lorene Myers. After graduating from Regina High School the Class of 196,1 he attended Ellsworth Junior College. He was an Army Vietnam War Veteran. He moved to Norfolk, NE in the late '70s and returned to the Iowa City area in 2006 to be closer to family. Survivors include his siblings Patricia Roe, Linda Atkinson and Joel Myers. He was preceded in death by 2 nieces and 3 brothers-in law George Gerlits, Bob Atkinson and Joe Roe. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Rich will be buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery near his parents.
