To Marian’s kids:
Our parents Paul & Ann were great friends with Marian & Lloyd at the Ainsworth farm. After that we visited you in Winter Haven FL & later when you moved back to Iowa.
Paul got one of you a blind date. We went sledding with you. During the child rearing phase of my life I lost track of your family until Marian visited at the hospital in Iowa City during Ann’s final days. After that, I spoke to Marian occasionally on the phone & she always updated me with pride about her family. She was always open to discussion even when we were in disagreement about politics. She was a good confidant and a strong, smart businesswoman. I continue to miss all of our parents & the good examples they set.
