Bunny and Herma were my parents best friends in college and throughout their lives. As a family, we would visit each other's homes on weekends. I grew up feeling like the Andersons were part of my family. We had great and memorable times throughout the years as best friends and family. Bunny is in good company in Heaven, having a big party once again! Love you, Bunny!

I'm very sorry to learn of John's death. He was an amazing person. My acquaintance with him was through the Monday Morning Quarterback Club where he was an active participant and Iowa women's basketball where he was a loyal fan. I enjoyed every conversation with John and was privileged to know him. J. Patrick White

John taught elementary band at South Elementary in Storm Lake when I taught band at St. Mary's-just behind the SM playground and across the street. I was a new teacher in 1985 and had lots to learn. John was always available with advice and a listening ear along with loaning equipment and music that was not an option in our small school budget. I will remember him most for his good heart and ready laugh. I will sound Taps from my deck tonight in his honor. Peace to his family and friends who loved him and knew him best. You have my sincere sympathy.
