Condolences
To the Royston Family,
My deepest sympathy to al of you. I grew up less then two blocks from you. My parents were good friends with Jack & Goldie. God bless you all.

I remember my Uncle Jack and Aunt Goldie playing Monopoly with my parents at 709 6th Avenue in Coralville, all of the laughter and closeness of a family game at a kitchen table, one of many happy family memories. This was in the late 1950s. Later in life, when I was a student at the University of Iowa, he and Goldie invited me over for a dinner; Jack took a real interest in what I was studying, and what I though about life. He was kind, intelligent, and talented, and had what i thought was a wonderful, understated sense of humor. Jack was married to my mother's sister, but he was also, curiously, my father's half-nephew. He was a fine man.
My father, Paul Ipsen, worked with Jack in the late 60's while in the Insurance Business. He spoke so highly of Jack and his respect for his integrity as a person. What is more to say about this man's life that made his mark in the world by the way he loved and was loved in return, a true Christian.
Deepest Sympathies,
Madonna (Ipsen) Henn
My condolences to Jack's family.
My sincerest sympathies go out to all of my family in Iowa. I have so many wonderful memories of visiting and going out to dinner with Uncle Jack and Aunt Goldie when they would come to stay in New Port Richey, FL for some warm weather and lots of golf! I also remember how I had to look up to the sky to see him because to me he was one of the tallest men in the world just like his dad, my Poppy. My fondest memory, though, will always be the warm, tight hug he never failed to provide. Uncle Jack will forver be in my memories and my heart.
Dear Aunt Goldie and family my heart breaks to hear about the loss of Uncle Jack. I will always and forever hold a special place in my heart and deep in my soul. He was a great Uncle one which can never be replaced. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful family. I know someday I will see him again. I love you Uncle Jack sending you hugs and kisses to heaven xoxo
You will be missed by so many. You always went above and beyond to make everyone feel special and loved and were an incredible, wonderful person. Sending prayers and thoughts to the family during this difficult time. I know your great grand children have learned a lot from you and will always remember you with love in their hearts.
Love,
Christy Johnston

Goldie and Family,
We were caught by surprise, when we saw this mornings paper. Phyllis and I have very good memories of Jack & Goldie over the years.
