Condolences
Lorraine,
We are saddened to learn of Ken's death. He was a fruitful servant of God, with a caring ministry, while having great sense of humor. We appreciated knowing him. You are in our prayers. May God bless and strengthen you each step of the way.

Dear Lorraine and family, you are in our prayers in this season of grief. Even with the strongest faith, losing someone we love is still painful. May the Spirit give you comfort and hope through the One who is our Resurrection and our Life.
Condolences to the entire family. To Dr. Hartman, will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this time my friend.
I am so sorry. Ken was a valued colleague and friend in ministry.
Lorraine - I never actually knew you but was drawn to you because you are a Roth by birth. (My husband is too). I recognize Ken's face also but never served near the two of you. Nonetheless I pray that you and the whole family will rejoice in your memories and trust God with your grief. In life, in death, in life beyond death, we are not alone. God is with us! Blessings, Cathy Luck
Lorraine,
The words from Matt German and Pastor Dale Batcheler are the words that we also want to share with you and both your family and Ken's family. We did not know Ken well, but he was a loyal, kind, forever working, pastor to his congregation. He will be missed.
Lorraine, we are thankful for the years that you and Ken were a couple and in ministry, whether together or in separate venues. Our prayers are with you. We hope you will feel the comfort and support of all those who love and care for you. My breath prayer for you today is: "Gentle Shepherd, let Lorraine know your peace".

My heart was grieved to hear of Ken's passing. The influence he had on me into ministry cannot be overstated. I enjoyed the several hour long drop in meetings we shared over the years. We considered each other family. He was a gifted preacher and genuinely loved others in a way that is rare. I will miss him dearly. My prayers are with you Lorraine as you grieve his passing. May the promise and sure hope of the resurrection that he taught and lived be a comfort to you in this tender time. Grace and peace to you.
-Matt German
So sorry for your loss. I'm gonna really miss Ken. He's in good hands now and hanging out with Penny.
Lorraine- our prayers are with in in your loss of Ken. Enjoyed his lively conversations at retired pastor's gatherings and will miss him. May the promise of the resurrection comfort you. -George and Martha White
I was very sad to hear of Ken's passing. We had many good times together in Bettendorf as we worked our way through the ministries we were in. He loved the ministry and working with the youth. Lorraine my thoughts are with you and pray that God's love comforts you. It is difficult to lose your spouse as I work though the death of Pat in December of last year. Hope to touch base with you in the near future. Dale Batcheler
