I'm so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. I have such wonderful memories of the many times our "Breakfast Club" (Pat and Jay, Dick and Sue Abel, Ann Greenzweig, and myself)met at the Village Inn. We had many wonderful holiday celebrations with Jay and Pat. Dick and Jay used to play Scrabble several times a week and I occasionally joined them on the weekend. I don't think I ever beat Jay. He knew every 2 letter word in the dictionary and was a master at 50 - 100 point words! Jay and I sat at the kitchen table so many times and had philosophic conversations about life, God and religion, and everything in general. My biggest regret was losing track of Jay when he left Iowa City. I pray his passing was peaceful and that all who grieve him have many wonderful memories, as do I. All of Jay's family are in my heart and prayers.
