Thoughts and prayers go out to the Stevens family. Our family parked in Betty's yard during football season for almost 30 years. She was always so kind and generous to our tailgating group and a true Hawkeye fan! We will miss her.
I will miss our conversations and her humorous comments on current events and also our recollections about our family. Bill always enjoyed our visits with her too. I am so glad she was able to lead a pretty independent life thanks to George and Bayard. It's hard to put into words how sad I am and how much I will miss Cousin Betty.
I am sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed my visits with her during football season and appreciated her hospitality in letting us park in her yard during the season. We will miss Betty.
Betty was an easy person to have a pleasant conversation with. We each enjoyed living in our small homes in the University Heights neighborhood. I admired her for completing law school in her later years. My condolences to her family.
Betty's intellect, combined with her wit, certainly enhanced 101 JH. It was a privilege to be in her company. In recent years, I always enjoyed running into her at one of her bridge venues and catching up with her.

We will both remember Betty fondly, for her friendship with our father and for the excellent bridge games (and lessons) we had from her over the years.
