Condolences
We have a lot of fond memories with Brian and the family when we sat next to them at the Women's basket ball games.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Sincere condolences go out to his family. We both worked with Brian many years ago and will remember him as a generous, hard working guy. All our best to his family. Linda and Jeff Bauler
I worked with Brian, and while I rarely interacted with him I always enjoyed his presence. I found him generous with his knowledge, unassuming and open. I will miss seeing him in the office. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

I am so sorry to read about Brian's passing. What a wonderful family. Prayers for each of you.
Brian was a courthouse buddy of mine for almost eighteen years. Whenever he came in, we would talk about our families.
He would tell me about Janelle winning yet another contest or drawing and we’d laugh about her incredible luck!
He was so proud of Kristi and Alex. I think that the last story Brian told was of Alex becoming quite the poker player.
When you see people weekly and sometimes daily, you bond with them, especially the good ones. Brian was a good one.
My heart goes out to the Maass family.
Janelle and family, sorry to hear the news of Brian. My thoughts and prayers to all the families.
I went to college with Brian at NCE, we had fun fun going to school and hanging out in the late 70’s. We lost touch but we still have some pictures from back in the day.
Brain was super nice guy and will be missed. God Bless.
Condolences to all Brian's family and friends. He was a classmate of mine. I do remember how sweet, kind and soft spoken he was. He had a wonderful smile and a great laugh. I do remember the time we investigated the house across the road from his family home when we were younger. RIP Brian.
Thoughts and Prayers for Peace, Comfort and Love for family. It's been many years since I've seen Brian, and it was at a Hawkeye Basketball game. We met through our employment at Econofoods, will remember his beautiful smile until that glorious day we meet again. May God's Arms and His Spirit wrap you in Love and Comfort during this transition of loss and that memories sustain you.
I am crushed to hear this. He was such a a great guy. I remember once at the admin bldg when I was short some change for the vending machine he just gave me what I needed. So kind. My sincere sympathy to all of his family.
We are heartbroken with the loss of your beloved Brian. We will miss him dearly. His smile could fix the world.
Deepest sympathy Duane and Deb Chalupa
Oh my goodness how we will miss that smile. It lives on in Alex's face, of course, but how we will miss our dear neighbor. Big hugs to all of his family. Fred and Patricia Ullrich
Janell, my heartfelt sympathies for you and your family. I haven't seen Brian for many years, but was a classmate for many years at Remsen-Union. He was a great guy then; I am confident he continued to be a great guy for you and your family. So sorry to hear about his passing.
