Obituary of Christine Bishop

Christine Bishop, age 79, passed away February 17, 2023 in Coralville, Iowa. Christine was born April 28, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lester Lacy and Leola (Hinton) Lacy. Christine enjoyed spending time in her vegetable garden, bird watching, and raising animals on the family farm. Other interests included tennis, painting ceramics, sewing, and working on jigsaw puzzles. More than anything she loved her family. Her passing leaves an emptiness in our hearts, but her memory will live on through all who love her. Christine’s family includes her children, Jeffrey Bishop and Scott (MaryAnn) Bishop; her grandchildren Samson Bishop and Noah Bishop; and her brothers Malcom Lacy and Claud Lacy. Sadly, Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and parents, Lester and Leola. A simple cremation has been arranged in accordance with Christine’s wishes. No services are planned at this time. Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
