Obituary of William L. Reddick Sr.

William L. Reddick Sr., age 92 died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home. Graveside memorial services will be held 11am Friday, March 31, 2023, at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to Iowa City Hospice. Metzler November 3, 1952, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Following her death in 1998, William married Mary K. Graf on September 5, 2002. She also preceded William in death on January 12, 2015. William started his working career driving a milk truck for Model Dairy. He then starting driving for Ruan and later C.W. Wilson and Jet Transport till 1964. In 1964 he began a career with Nate Moore Electrical where he worked until retiring in 1992. William enjoyed collecting old antique toys, farm equipment and trains. Then watching his grandchildren play with these. His family includes his children, William Jr. (Carol), Lloyd (Barbara), Shelley Cone and Laura Hershberger (Ted); siblings, Alice Boose, Beverly Murri, and Leslie Reddick Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, and sister, Shirley Graham.
