I ONLY LEARNED OF Cheryl's passing today as I was looking for her phone to give her a call, she was my mom's best friend for many years, and I remember sitting at the kitchen table with them many times as they got together to drink coffee and talk, before my mom got into pwp, Cheryl was the only person my mom could talk to about what was happening in her life and the two of them shared many things that they couldn't talk to anyone else about. I'M glad I had the chance to see her a couple of times before my health began to fail and I could no longer drive, in many ways she was like a second mother as we were growing up, and I will miss her, my condolences on your loss, I know how you feel, My mom passed 23 years ago on the 31.

Kevin, I met your Mom in 1969. I was working with you Dad and he invited me over. I .was also a classmate with Vicky. I joined the Air Force and left Iowa City. I returned to Iowa City in 1992 and was happy to meet your parents again in church. I hope you and your family have comfort in knowing your parents are together again in Christ.

Cheryl was my second mom she has my whole heart! So many memories! Babysitting my brothers and me one summer when I was little and all the bowling we did together and tournaments which we damaged a camper looking for male dancers oh memories!!! I will miss you rip
