David was an avid sports fan with a special place in his heart for the Iowa Hawkeyes, KC Royals and the Las Vegas Raiders.
David had a gigantic heart and beautiful soul who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter, smile, and genuine kindness towards others brought joy and laughter to those around him. He truly never knew a stranger. His absence will forever be felt in the deepest parts of our hearts and beings.
While we mourn his untimely passing, we also want to acknowledge his struggle with depression and anxiety and how silently struggling with any mental illness can lead to worsening of any other existing health issues (as in Davids case heart disease and diabetes). Please take time to reach out to anyone you know who may struggle with any type of mental illness and give them and extra hug and support.
In our grief let us find peace in the knowledge that David is finally free of any pain and is now again reunited with his parents who passed before him. We will forever hold him close in our hearts cherishing the moments we shared and the enormous impact he had on so many lives. Rest in eternal peace Bucko, your spirit and love you brought into the world will forever be remembered.
