Condolences
Dean and Becky,
I'm so sorry I wasn't able to attend your mom's funeral Saturday. She was such a fun lady, full of life! My mom, Emily Yanecek Larkin, really enjoyed her. Two Masses will be offered for Velma: Tues, Feb. 6th at 12:05 p.m. at Immaculate Conception and Monday, March 4th at 6:30 p.m. at St. Wenceslaus both in Cedar Rapids. May God's peace and love surround all of your family.
With deepest sympathy, Cindy Larkin McElliott

Velma was a wonderful friend and companion to our Dad in the years they spent together. They had a lot of fun and laughter with each other. They came out to Washington for a visit, and bless her heart, she hauled a bag of poppy seeds out here to teach me how to make Kolaches!! Nothing like learning from a Master!! She was a nice lady. I am very sorry for your family's loss. Take care, Peggy
Dean - I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Dean, so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. May your memories provide you with comfort. I just lost my dad on Father's Day. My thoughts are with you.
So sorry to hear of Velma's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dean, Becky and the rest of the family. Even though it has been some time since visiting with Velma, I will always remember Velma's good spirit, her smile and laugh. May the good Lord watch over her! Rest in Peace Velma! Gary and Pat Dusil

Dean, Becky and the rest of the Kadera family and friends you are in my thoughts and prayers!!!!! It' very hard to lose someone near and dear to your heart!!!!! What I learned when my parents passed away you take one day at a time, you live for the memories and it shows your support. If you need anything or just talk just let me know. I've known Dean probably since the 80,s. when I worked at NCS.

What a great lady with some wonderful memories! And if I have some I’m sure you have a lifetime of memories to keep her in your hearts! The best memory was when your Dad was alive. Watching My Dad & Mom and your Mom and Dad dancing around the floor & stopping to talk & laugh way into the next dance. My partner and I dancing had to smile at the simplicity of a good time and know that many generations were having fun at the same time. When I think of your mom she always looked smiling and happy no matter what life threw her way!
