My condolences to the family. I would run into Keith from time to time in Iowa City and we would chat for a while about this and that and I would sometimes see him walking around as I was passing by in my car. At some point that stopped happening and I would sometimes wonder if I would see him again and have more time to reminisce but that never happened and it is my loss. He would always call me Hansen and I always got a chuckle out of it. I guess I was just surprised he knew my name after so many years. He was a decent guy and I always liked him. Rest in peace, Keith.
Keith had keen memory ask him anything about past he would tell you matter of minutes. Uncle Keith worked with my dad same team of 4 people at Illinois Gas & Electric in the gas division. Once a month we just go for a drive he'd tell me stories about me and your dad worked at this place surrounding Iowa City a couple times in Muscatine and Atalissa. Saying he knew business owners Ice cream stores, Hills Bank, and Randalls. Even last days on earth he said sometimes see all nieces and nephews when we all younger. He wouldn't leave his place without a hat on so dedicated My Own Kind of Hat by his favorite singer Merle Haggard gonna miss you uncle Keith
When I was young, we lived on Olive near the Griffin family..knew the whole family..Gave Keith and Paul support at Southeast Junior High. I am Margaret Rogers' granddaughter, Debbie and also graduated West High 1970. My sympathies and blessings to the family.
