I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. It was just this morning that I was thinking of my first job in radio, and Bob was the first person to come to mind. I was a junior in high school when Bob helped me get a provisional FCC license to start working at KXIC-FM a few evenings a week. He was such a great mentor. Personable, easy to understand, pleasant, and a great example.

I will remember Bob forever.... Rest in peace my friend!

We send our condolences to the Shellady family and those that were dear to him. Bob was a cousin to my husband, Craig Shellady and he has fond memories of his dad's brother Robert Shellady Sr. and family when they were young. There were many gatherings at their grandfather's cabin as young children which great times for them all.
