Jim and family,

I remember the day we moved to homestead and became next door neighbors, our boys became friends as they still are today.. Clara would make pumpkin pie on Christmas morning and have the kids bring it over ..Was always amazing!! Clara was a kind ,sweet, good hearted person that loved her family, That beautiful smile of hers would light up a room. God bless and comfort you all in this difficult time.

Dear Vance family , so very sorry for your loss. Clara was a wonderful being and she will be dearly miss . She had a special place in my heart . May the Lord comfort you and give you strength in this difficult time

I’m so sorry to see she passed away . I met her many years ago through my good friend Terri who runs the Handimart in Amana which is now Casey’s

Such a nice woman. She had such a smile all the time and what a wonderful family she raised.

The smiles are the things I remember most growing up as neighbors down the road I would often stop over to their place and would be greeted with a smile or maybe even a raccoon trying to eat me but even that coon was showing his teeth and smiling at me. Her children that I still call my friends today if someone were to ask me what comes to mind when I think of any of them it would be the smiles and personalities that she instilled in them. I’ve never really seen a family so happy all the time and it’s a really great thing that her and her husband created.

Rest in peace Clara that wonderful smile and heart of gold of yours will live on through your children.
