It was a very sad day hearing about Okie passing. I've known Okie for years. We were neighbors when my folks lived in Burlington. It was great talking to him every so often. God gained a very special person.

WE are sad to see Okie had passed. We met Okie about 15 years ago at First Christian Church in Burlington.. A very nice man! He would always greet you with a SMILE and a hug or a handshake.. A very nice man! A gentleman! He made you feel good to be in church. He will be missed by many of us. <3 God Bless his Family ~ You are ALL in our thoughts and Prayers <3 Love and Aloha, Tom and Geri

One memory here my mom Jane Parsons shared.

Mom said he was good friends of her & my dad Glen Parsons before he was married. His sister Eunie gave them a bridal shower. He was the first one to give them a wedding gift. It was some plastic trays to go in the refrigerator.

Aunt Dotie, David, Steven, Marge, Eric, Courtney and Seth. I want you to know that I am thinking of you each at this difficult time. I am so glad that my girls and I got to spend time with Uncle Okie and Aunt Dotie during their visits to WA. I loved listening to Uncle Okie telling us stories, especially those of his childhood. I laughed and laughed ❤️. I truly treasure these moments we shared.
