Obituary of Kevan Michael Allison

Kevan Michael Allison entered into eternal rest on October 27th 2023. He was born on November 29th, 1961 in Cape Town, South Africa. He is the son of the late Wendy Lee Allison and the late John Graham Allison. He is survived by sisters Lara Lee Allison and Julie Ann Allison of Charleston, SC., niece and nephew, Haley Jameson, and Luke Jameson; Aunt and Uncle Hugo and Patricia Allison and cousins Andrew and Claire Allison of South Africa; Aunt and Uncle Penny and Gil Knoesen of New Zealand; and cousins James and Marianne Knoesen of New Zealand. He is also survived by his sweet kitty Cheeky, who was his constant companion. Kevan was proud to serve as a pilot in the Marine Corps, and was an avid lover of flying. He had a passion for numbers and the stock market and was always looking for just the perfect algorithm. He was a very talented piano player and composed many pieces that he loved to play. Growing up in South Africa he loved to spend time at Du Toitskloof fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He always wanted to return to his home roots, and therefore his surviving family will be returning him to the place he loved the most in Cape Town.
