My fondest memories are those when the Oehler family came to stay with us in San Diego, for the Holiday Bowl. (When the Hawkeyes played) Always brought extra warmth to the Christmas season.
Thank you Joan for reaching out to me last year and reestablishing that connection and sharing that time with me. It meant so much, and I will miss it.
Geez, Joan has passed away Always a nice lady and a strong MOM so to speak. I enjoyed talking with Joan so many times over the years. She always stopped to talk when I would see her out and around Coralville. The 'OEHLER HOUSE/CORNER' was a real active house for so many years. Joan was a very nice lady and will certainly be missed by all.
