Sorry to hear about Gene's passing. Have many fond memories with him at our Legion post. He loved to play cards. He gave much of his time to the Legion. We were in the same bass club. He loved to fish as we all did. His pickup trucks were always immaculate, and in demand whenever he decided to trade. Thanks Gene. Best to you Jane.

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside him in the home construction trades for many years. At first, as an apprentice, I was intimidated by his experience and seemingly dour demeanor, but soon came to appreciate his wicked sense of humor and most of all his friendship. He will always fondly be remembered as one of the best.

I had a lot of good, fun times working with Gene over the years and will miss seeing him. My deepest condolences to you Jane.

My grandma Margorie Krebs lived across the street from your mother in-law. But I think it would be my father that I am sure you heard of Harold G Krebs. I remember Dad talking of you husband. I believe they worked at the Post Office at the same time. I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Keith and I are very sorry to hear about Gene's passing. Keith was so glad that he has been able to see you both a few weeks ago and catch up, Keith came home that day and said that he remembered working with Geno, and really missed those days at Merit.

I have been thinking of you like crazy. I truly was blessed to meet such a great guy "Gene". Loved to sit and listen to him telling me so many stories. I always love seeing you guys. Jane, we have lots of fun memories with Gene. One being he won my shoes at the American Legion Las Vegas night. Went home in the middle of the winter without my shoes. He also gave me plenty of lessons in euchre. We had some good times with both of you and will miss Gene greatly. RIP Gene,. Gail and Mike Maher
