I connected with Baker many years ago at RYC, when I lent her an adapter that she needed for her boat. She was so gracious and friendly, I was happy to help her out

From that day forward we enjoyed a fulfilling and respectful friendship. I never got to know her really well, but I always enjoyed seeing her and the sparkle that never seemed to leave her eyes.

I was stunned to see this announcement because I did not know she was ill. She always seemed to me like the personification of life itself!

I am so sorry to hear this news, I mourn her loss, and extend my deepest condolences to Sue and Baker’s entire family.
