My parents, Vince and Shirley Poe of Galesburg, IL, were good friends with Betty and Ray at Rincon. So sorry for your loss.

We loved Betty from the minute she made our mother (Marcia) welcome at Bridgewater. We called her and Marcia the Bridgewater renegades and they loved spending time with each other going back and forth to each other's next door apts. My sister and I knew she had a sweet tooth, so we would make sure to bring her sweets when we brought mom's. We will always remember her fondly for her love for mom and being such a good friend until mom passed away.
