My Aunt Carolyn passed away on 7/2/24 and she was laid to rest today 7/25 in Iowa. She and I actually share the same birthday, 7/11 ❤️. There was beautiful service for her attended by friends and family and then some scattered watching over Zoom, like myself. I feel like I knew my Aunt Carolyn and spent more time with her as a kid than an adult. I remember she visited us in CA a couple times and that was always fun. Our trips to Iowa unfortunately got more and more spaced out as we got older but I was always happy when I got a chance to see her, talk to her and give her a hug. I also always loved to see how happy my mom would get when she saw her, when she sees any of her family, really. My Aunt had a beautiful smile,a huge heart and the sweetest laugh which I’ll never forget. I know life was challenging for my Aunt but she loved life and she loved her family and she was a great person.

I love you Aunt Carolyn, you will be deeply missed.
