So soon... Damn.. We met Linda in the early when I joined the Coralville Fire Department so serve with Roy. We were there for MANY years. My Wife, Michele and I were good friends with Roy and LInda. Card parties, Water Fights, fun stuff at the FIre Station and more. Always a GREAT smile and laugh! She sure believed that her two kids were the GREATEST!

Fun personality for sure! WE will miss our friend LINDA. She can now be with ROY.

Linda was a very important member of the Department of Ophthalmology and the Institute for Vision Research at the University of Iowa for many years. She helped many people during her long career here and we are very grateful for her valuable contributions. We will miss her very much.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing and know she will be missed by her family and friends. I worked with Linda in the Eye Clinic at the University for many years and she was a staff member loved and respected by so many of her co-workers as well as the doctors and other staff. Linda was always willing to step up and help others and she especially enjoyed a good joke or a happy story. Although it's been many years since I've seen Linda, I can still hear her laugh and know that the years she spent with her grandchildren and the "greats" that came along, were the best years of her life!

Remember the good times!

To Linda's family,

Linda and I were friends in elementary school in Columbus Junction Iowa. You know when you are young one has friends and we were just becoming inseparable when she moved to the Nichols area. We stayed in touch for a while and then when I was working at the U of I Business Office she married the best friend of the son of the lady I worked for. . . . and I said to her that Linda was an amazing person. Then of course a coworker across the hall from me at the U later in my career at the U was also a friend of Linda's . . small world how we sort of just bumped into each other through others.

I am sorry to hear of her passing and hope your memories of time together help sustain you. I've thought of her often but wasn't sure where she had settled. God bless her as she goes to her eternal home.
