I’ll never think of Roman get together without remembering the big smile and bigger heart of my Aunt Colette. She was always laughing, always helping, always serving others, always patient, and always kind. We shared a secret Christmas memory: my siblings were picking on me and Aunt Colette found me pouting on the staircase upset and hiding from everyone. She sat down and gave me a $5 bill and shared a brownie with me and told me it was our own little Christmas game and to keep it all to myself. I never ever forgot how special she made me feel that night. Thank you for leaving our world better than you found it, I hope I can be more like you as I grow up.
