Obituary of Ci'ayla Cheyanna Elizabeth Fox

It is with deep sorrow and hearts full of love that we announce the passing of our precious daughter Ci’ayla Cheyanne Elizabeth Fox.   Ci’ayla passed away on November 5th, in Iowa City, Iowa. Just shy of two years old, Ci’ayla left us while surrounded by the love of her family & the entire PICU team at the University of Iowa.

Born December 23, 2022, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Alondra Fox and Caleb Celichowski. Ci’ayla was the youngest child to both Alondra and Caleb. Sister to Dre Jones, Caleb Celichowski Jr. and Christian Kula.

Ci’ayla spent most of her time watching Moana & listening to her songs! When she wasn’t watching Moana, she was adored by the hospital nurses, doctors & the University staff. Ci’ayla has been a fighter since the day she was born, from over coming heart surgery to liver cancer. Through it all she fought hard and strong and still maintained her beauty! She fought a long tough battle & although we are so sad to see her go, it’s never goodbye! We will see you later sweet girl! Forever Cici’s World!
